Man....I'd trade every Pontiac I own for the right 33 Willys. I've got a file with about 100 pics in it. How many remember where Gary Densham started?

 

If the slicks ain't sticking out like Gary's I ain't looking twice. Is it just me? Seems having those slicks hangin' out just makes the look look right.

 

built this '41 pro street back in the mid '90s, ran it for 4 years then sold it to a guy in tacoma WA. he painted it black.

I love this one. It's perfect the way it is. A stock Willy's seems to make people itch. They'll act like an addict looking at cocaine or something. Very nice.

had a brief conversation with Pork Zartman on the phone today. Is he as nice in person as he is on the phone?

 

Absolutely. Met him at the hotel in Thompson for the G***er Reunion. We sat at the breakfast table each morning and shot the ****...never had met him before but we have a few friends in common. In any event a very approachable and friendly guy. One of the Legends too.

thanx for those links. Willy home run/Sunday Niagara has to be one of the best small track events in the U.S.A. you even got a pic of my Opel. we broke on Saturday but hung out til the end on Sunday. Great people--great times
