Everyones favorite roaming gnome, AKA H.A.M.B.'s Santa is in California getting a hip replacement done. i just got off the phone with him, and he's seein his doc.

operation is tomorrow, so keep Bob in your thoughts an prayers.

heal up soon Bob, an remember... red ram hemi and a deuce shell with insert for Christmas for me... i been a good boy this year...

Good luck Bob, my hip replacement was the best thing I ever did for myself. Follow the physical therapy to a "T" afterwords and you will be up and chasing Maggie around the house in no time.

I asked the same thing, and Bob told me that the surgery he is having is fairly new and is only done in a few places in th world, like Thailand and other exotic places. Much as Bob likes to scurry about the country, he chose Palm Springs (I think?) as it seemed like the best place to get the hip surfacing he needs. Much less invasive than hip replacement.

Get well Bob! Hope to see you back on the road very early in the the new year.
