the m151a1/m151a2 was two of the best jeeps ever made I have had them up to the tops of the fenders in water crossings and just kept going, replaced by that abortion called a hummer. right up there with replaceing the 113 for the bradly fighting veh ? its a poor rip off of the brdm.

heres a pic of my GPW, I still need to do some touch up work and paint the stars etc. My Granpa bought this here in the states in 69 before he went back overseas. it's been in the family ever since. :)

looked like most of those were fords, at least the ones I could see the headlight's on. very cool video, it's amazing that some of those p***engers didn't fly out on the jumps and bumps!

This past September I went for a B17 ride at the Yankee Air Museum housed at the Willow Run Airport . They have a couple WWII vehicles in process of restoration.

This delivery type truck was used around the airport, how cool is it?!

  15. For quite a while... 60's-80's couldn't help but trip over the Jeeps... every single gas station in Wisconsin had one to plow the station lots and to Advertise their services!

In the Phillipines they're still using the allthough they've transformed into "Jeepneys"...

Great video. Thanks. I love those old army jeeps. I rebuilt a 1942 Ford Jeep when I was a teenager and early 20's. It was a blast. I wish I still had it. In fact, I will own another one some day.....just need to get that ranch first! :)

Here are a couple of original WWII vehicle pictures. These photos were taken in Japan. The 41 Chrysler is right hand drive.
