Like most of my cars getting round to introducing myself on the hamb has taken a while. I have a huge level of expertise in taking cars apart, not much knowledge of putting them together again though! I have two projects, a 66 Volvo Amazon sled, and a 53 GMC panel truck. The truck is currently without a front end, as I have had to strengthen the front clip. Someone in the States put what I believe is a Nova clip on it and welded it (badly!) where it touched, still trying to work out the logic of putting on such a wide clip with drum brakes! The Volvo is a long term project that is being kept out of the way while I sort a divorce. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how to use these new fangled computers and forums. Been into hot rods since I was about 12 and have wanted just about everything (kustoms, rods, altered, etc.), apart from a dayvan (there is no excuse for them!).
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. On a different thread (I know naughty), does anyone know where I can get a clear rear screen for a 1950 Mercury?
