    Hey Jon,

Well the damage wasn't that bad and we were out again after one week. The following weekend, we went out and got our new PB of 9.103 @ 148 at Santa Pod raceway.

Here's some more pics of the damage as it happened......enjoy.

  10. Yes it does! I think some wheelie bars ought to be on the list of "winter modifications"!

Wow, that is some great pictures and the vidoe was good also, I am glad you did not have much damage. You are still my hero with that car, it reminds me of the altereds of the 60's. Keep up the fun and good work.

Hey, isn't that Chet Gibbs' car out of Indianapolis? If it is, he still runs it at Goodguys events.

would this by chance be the car on a pass at the beginning,
then winning the round at the end of the song "Living in the USA" by Steve Miller?
always wondered if that was a real car or something made up in a studio?

This is one of my better pan shots. Shooting from the bleachers with a 200mm lens (hand held) is a hit & miss thing. This one turned out pretty good.

Give the man a prize. Very astute recollection on your part. I beleive you right, as the song nears its ending with a background recording of the Lions announcer calling out the time for Madden. The fish eye lens shot of the Davis/Jennings jr fueler is real nice, the brass hued injectors adds to it. Reminds me of something you would see in a Hot Rod Magazine pictorial.
