Surely this question would be best asked on the thread that mentions the "traditional" truck rather than start another thread. You know it just causes a whole lot of shit.

I bet you poke junkyard dogs through the fence with sticks too.

bobber trucks are for guys that dont know what the word bobber means..

also, another prerequisite is bad taste and no idea how proportions work

    29 Nash has a point.

....but most bobber trucks are ugly. maybe if we bash everyone who builds one they will stop.

it's not as bad if they start with a cab and a grille and build one, but when they cut up a buildable truck that sucks.

This is a "Bobber Post". Same as the trucks- designed to make people stop, take a look, make a generally disapproving comment & possibly start a fight. ;)

Then in the end the builder/poster can sit back and enjoy the piss up they started. (all in fun Jason, just like all "bobbers") :0 ;) :0

I think its just another form of Rat Rod...dont care for that either..dont feel they belong here either..but I will leave it up to the Moderators

  26. This is true and most often the case of "I dont have a hot rod so they all suck" attitude. Yes there are some cars and trucks that are built with NO thought at all and the lines and the over all apperance of the vehicle is completely out of perspective, but its run what you brung. Many hot rods from the early days that are now considered traditional were a pile if shit and the guy that built it would tell ya "yes its a death trap but its fun" that what I built it to do, fuck im broke so I did what I could with what I had.
    Nuff said.

now ya'll might think I'm pokin fun but I ain't kiddin.

I've gotten a bunch of pm's about makin frames for "bobber" trucks.. i asked em for examples but none replied.

Now if a "bobber" truck is like the examples posted here, I'd say someone took all the good parts of them pick em ups!

If your talking pick em ups like Rudys, now thats a different story. I call that a hot rod. Nice and low... good chop.. Nice proportions. Uncomfortable thing to sit in though and I'm short! And I dont remember Rudy ever sayin that was a tradional bobber truck. I'll ask him next time I see him though...
