That is a cool "C" Cab you have there maybe not as high tech as some of these guys but it is still Art. I also submit sketch ideas on here because I just don't have the skills to do the type of work some of the guys are doing. Anyway looks good and would like to see it built one day.

    This week is fantastic.
There are some great things that go onto these pages and I'm glad I have the opportunity to join some of the elite in this world.
Here's one that would be fun to have, a 50 Ford custom I call Sleeper.
Thanks for letting me be here.

Do it! There is going to be a huge shortage in the next few years, and even if you don't make it a career it's a handy skill to have:)

  15. Very cool 40PU. Hope you do the whole story. I like the Idea if keeping the characters face in high contrast shadow below the brim of the fedora. The skull is cool but I could see you really pushing the 'mystery' a bit.

You know you can work really rough on storyboards, right?
Work loose and quick, it will give your stuff tons of life.

Oh' and this is ment to be friendly, constructive stuff, I really love the drawing.

McPhail- Both of those kick ass. Been a fan of your work for a long time!
    jbird! Killer toons.
Acrochicken- those bike shots are killer
fortypickup- That shot of Clyde is very cool!
    factory 1969- very nice logo!
    pontiacres- cool Xmas pump.
GaryC- the 3 wheeler is sweet! Damn!
    Stinson, love the tee designs!

Here's a repost from last week. Sorry for the repeat but I had some time to clean up the picture. The color is still off a bit but better than it was.

I usually start a concept with a side elevation (Thom Taylor does them best, don't you think?)- it helps me throw ideas down fast and get the feel of the car before diving into more difficult views. Here is a '29 Roadster I did for a friend, who then sold the car before finishing (damn it!) I tried a couple of wheel combos (yes, he has those milktruck wheels (damn it again!) This drawing is about 60% complete, but I like the unfinished nature of it.

Damn, this week's show is killer... speechless.

  29. ewt2 and toddj...very cool...ewt2 that just blew me away...

  30. Blackie, I forgot to mention how much I like the roadster. I like the
    roadster Blackie.

40, we're all but small cogs and sprockets engaged in the works of the big machine.
(At least that's how my boss treats me... )
    Thanks.

I got me one a them - - - Cintiq thingys a couple days ago. I used it a little for work but am limited because the software won't fully install. That didn't stop me from wanting to try creating a freehand a drawing tho. I did two quick sketches and this is
the second of them. The other needs some help. Can you say, "learning curve?"
This one was just off the top of my head ( along with a few more hairs I think) and,
with a little monkeying around, took me about 30 minutes or so to do.

Titled, "Do I Look Like a VolksRod to you?"
