Davis and Ingraham's (spl) record holding AA/A. Do a search elsewhere on the HAMB and you will find a lengthy and well chronicled accounting of these guys and the roadster

That was a goog looking car, even up close. But not nearly as attractive as Tidwell's soon to be wife, Linda Vaughn.

    Believed to be Newhouse Special

Tony Waters, "Giant Killer", Chevy beat many blown Chryslers.

  14. That is Gary Cagle in the Newhouse Special.

Tony Waters ran a baby De Soto hemi in his roadster. See the bubble on the hood to clear the head. He ran a Potvin front mount blower set up until the manifold exploded at the 1960 March meet. Then went to top mounted blower seen here. Very aptly named "Giant Killer". This little roadster was very quick back in the day. I was standing at the 1000 foot mark during the '60 march Meet TE final. Tony had a car lengh on Art Chrisman's Hustler, and the manifold let go. Blew shit all over, nearly hitting spectators.
