I've been asked to organize and take control of the "Merc Drive In",outside the "60th Anniversary of the 1949 Mercury" in Sacramento,on Saturday,February 7th,2009! I'm pretty excited!!!
The Merc Drive In will be on Saturday ONLY!
I will be going up on the 5th and staying all weekend.
It's open to ALL 1939-1959 Mercurys,ANY CONDITION!!!

$40 includes you,your car,and one passenger for Saturday ONLY!
$18 to walk in.
If you are going and taking your car,WHY park outside when you can park INSIDE with all the other Mercurys? This is going to be a HUGE event. If you have a Merc,you CAN"T miss this! With or without your car!
If you have any questions,just ask! If I don't know the answer,i'll get it for you.
You can either PM me your address or go to www.RODSHOWS.com and download the registration form. If you download the registration form,write "Merc Drive In" in red in the upper right-hand corner.

You know i'll be taking LOTS of pic's of this event! Hopefully I can get some great shots on set up day. Some stuff that doesn't normally get seen. I'll be getting plenty of detail shots to put on the HAMB Merc thread! It's gonna be great to compare the chops,grills,stances,interiors etc! I'll be taking a measuring tape to get some info on how each of the famous cars sit. And the measurements of the chops.

 

Bad Bob in Nor-Cal! I'll be sure to say hi if I see ya. I don't have a Merc, but I'll be there with about 3 or 4 cars from the shop I work at.

 

Come on man! I've been to NorCal before. Many times. Hope to see you there...

 

Hey Bob,i will really try to work out something and bring my Merc up there...but i'm figgerin out im freakin FAR....there are more than 2 days alone driving up to Tijuana plus all the way to NO.CA....
There is any way to get a partial refund on gas or something from the organizers??that will be in case a great help....
