There is NOTHING like that anywhere within 500 miles of here.
Your pictures are terrific. The one with the pedal car resting on the rusty hood is particularly nostalgic. Thanks for taking the time to post so many photos. DD

Wow, reminds me of the Mitchell Indiana Auction, only better, you didn't have to wade through piles of lumber and garbage to find the good stuff.

Yeah, I want to know how much the '29 roadster was also. And I spy a couple of Strombergs in one of those pics.

Keeping this location a secret is a great idea. It keeps it as a private preserve for the few who know about it and it insures that this huge amount of tin, good and bad, for the most part will not be saved to be enjoyed by the enthusiasts. Surely you aren't going to buy everything there so what is wrong with buying what you want and let the world know about it, so much of this can be saved. Keeping this a secret is no different than all the stories posted on here about finding cars and yards that can't be bought because the owner is going to "fix it up some day". Those days rarely come and this yard being saved is unlikely if it is kept the providence of a knowledgeable few. So what if the west coast guys are willing to pay for overpriced cars. Since you aren't willing to, let the car be saved at the very least. Do the right thing for this hobby and let the name and location be known.

  24. cant wait for that auction..
since he won't sell anything resonable then when he dies more than likely his family will auction all it off in a day
and i'll be there.... just like mitchell

Since no one else has guessed or posted the location, I will take a stab. I have no idea where this location is but it sure reminds me of a place I visited years ago in the Texas Hill Country. I wish I could remember the name! (darn old age!)

  26. Then you obviuosly know where it's at. Do what's right and disclose the location so that others may find the parts they need. Read FASI's post above, he is right on.

  27. Nick, you should come back and tell us the story behind all this stuff..I dont care about location, but curious as to the origins, the man,,etc.....
Now off to change my drawers from shitting all over myself as I read this thread!!!!!!!
    Thanks again Nick

I,m guessing Easy Jack's in, I believe, Kansas. What a treasure trove. Pricey, but what treasure isn't. If you need it and he has it, well...
