"Listen to me Damnit!: I Know the Difference Between a Traditional Hot Rod & a Rat Rod" by Kirk Jones

...has a nice ring to it.

    or...

"How to Get All the Ladies Like Liberace By Having a Kickass Starliner, Just to Find Out You Like Little Boys Like Liberace" by Kirk Jones

...they're both a little long...maybe some condensing is needed?

This is going to be hard to beat I think. Simple, to the point and obvious, just like a good traditional hot rod should be.

Or, here's the apparently other "traditional" ideology that some adhere to:

"Just build what you want and don't worry about what others think -
Especially true after you have just asked 65K people what they think about your project and didn't get the responses you wanted"

  12. I still like mine, Reflections the life and times of hot rods.

He will be reflecting back on what hot rodding was like and then going through the stages to what Traditional hot rodding is. I can see the cover of the book with an old roadster on the salt flats covered with a coating of water and seeing the reflections of that roadster in the water

How many posts do we have here on the HAMB relating to reflecting back on the past and the old hot rods of days gone by? How many of us all but get a hard on when someone comes across a barn find of an old rod built in the 40s, 50s, 60? How many times to we reflect on the days of our youth and recall how we wished we were older so we could own a cool hot rod?

Am I missing something here or isn't this what this book is all about? Reflecting back on those old hot rods and then bringing them back to life again.
