I find that Coker is still priced reasonably and if you were an Alliance member you would get a discount....also they back their tires if there is any problem.

I just got 4- 6.70-15 Firestones delivered for 560. from Coker. I thought that was more than reasonable for 4 new tires.

    Dave,
Call me. The guy who I bought my NOS chrome slot wheels from has 3 warehouses full of old wheels and tires. He is in Findley Oh. He probably has what you want

small independant tire shops. they usually cost a buck or two more than coker, whom they get the tires from, but you still save because you dont have to pay shipping.

go to a place like discount tire. when i needed tires for my daughters car we went there. the guy quoted me a price for 4 new tires mounted and balanced. i gave him a cash offer for much less and he took it. cash is still king. probably more so in todays world! plus, discount tires covers their tires for the life of the tread. even if they need balancing, its free. cant beat that. they can get the nostalgia stuff, to.

Well, don't buy Coker tires thru your local "Discount Tire" store. They charged me, or tried to charge me, 100$ per tire over what I could have bought them from Coker directly for. I made a fuss and they refunded me the money, but I'll never buy tires there again!

LIKE WE HAVE ALL SAID BEFORE,corky coker is busting his tail to provide the tires that we all are needing.if you don't support the aftermarket industry the cost of vintage tires will go through the roof.

as for the cost of tires, have you noticed the cost of stainless steel? i built a pair of rear ladderbars this past week, and the cost of stainless tubing alone was $400.00.

go get you some off brand tires from wal-mart,and drive another nail into our country's economy.

Try LUCAS TIRE in Long Beach California.

I bought some 6.70-15 Bias White Walls there for my F-100 and from 5 feet the look like Firestones.

Been a few yers, But they were pretty resonable.

I've used Coker and Lucas. Both were competitive and good to deal with. I paid $165. ea. for my 4 1/4" WW goodyears from Lucas. I had to pay shipping, but because it was out of state, no taxes.

I feel tires make a huge impact on a cars cool factor. Not the time to cut corners. Good luck!

Off brand tire from walmart? I'm looking for some options. So far pretty good. Universal tire, Denman, and you recommended walmart.

  22. i think he was trying to make a point not tell you to go get walmart tires.

I think Coker is the way to go. Especially if you're an Alliance Member, because you get a discount from Coker.

Like it's been said, you don't want to skimp on tires, so buying new wouldn't be a bad idea.
