From the number of views on this thread, and no postings I'll start by saying its not a very good style that lends itself to chopping.Take it from there!!!!!!!

Keep your eyes open because they are out there. They lend themselves well to chopping and lowering and in my opinion one of the nicest customs when complete. I'll look around for you.

I have come across one for a good deal and figured I would grab it, I thought about going the high and mighty route but decided to go the custom route, if anyone has pics of one as a custom that would be great, I have searched for hours and cant find exactly what I am wanting.

    thanks guys

  8. I had a 50 dodge biz coupe at one time and had planned on a 3 inch chop with a carson top but wound up selling it...I will look around for the drawings I did...I have always like the plymouth models more as the grille is much more attractive

I have a 49 wayfarer, tried to find pics of chopped ones, no luck. I put a dakota subframe under mine, but they already have good suspension, dropped spindles, disc available.

Three inches. I should have went 3.5 inches. I put all the chrome on the cars and lowered it before I sold it. I will have to dig those photos up. I personally wouldn't go more then four inches on that body style, that just me.

That car belonged to some guy here in Phoenix. I haven't seen it in about three years, I have pics of it before it was in black primer after they had chopped it in my archives somewhere. I remember seeing it run around pre-chopped as well and thought it was a neat bodystyle as I had never seen one up close before that.

I remember the blue one C9 had for sale on here years ago...a real steal for the $2500 he wanted for it, and it was running with the flat six if I remember correctly. I would have bought it had I had the money at the time, that bodystyle is interesting for such a big car.
