    I'd like to see all of the '30's Coupe's and Sedan's that you guys can come up with pictures of from the '50's-60's era.

    Here's a B/A Coupe that makes me want to duplicate it with license plates and drive the snot-out-of-it on the street.

  19. Yeah ... you can't really see it in the pic ... but they welded a skid plate on the bottom of the oil pan because every time Joe Davis would come up to the starting line, the car would flex (with the torque of the engine) ... and sometimes the oil pan would scrape the ground!

    GOOD LORD!!!! I've always loved altereds but to this day I still can't get my head around the kind of guts it takes to climb into one of these monsters, hammer the throttle, and wonder where the car is gonna take you this pass! I drove some quick late model stock cars in the last few years but that would have to feel like a run to the store for some milk and eggs compaired to an altered. Long live the fuel altered!!
