Thanks for the pics. I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked to due to being sick as hell.

Good times... best TRR in a long time, despite the mechanical issues.

thanks for sharing, missed the last two yrs now that I live on the West Coast but stayed across the street for a number of yrs. the Bel Air parking lot was one of my favorite parts of the weekend.

  10. I see Gary still has NY plates on his pick up. I haven't seen any of his kids since before he moved down to Fla.

Awesome pics. I'll get mine uploaded and posted later today.

Anyone have more pics of this car? I saw it at the plaza saturday night, and LOVED it. It was probably one of my favorite cars from the whole event.

I will be the first to admit, I know NOTHING about old cars what so ever. I'm just hear to look at pretty pictures and hopefully learn a tab bit of info. That being said, that body/stance is exactly what I would want. The mail box as a hood scoop was a little trashy looking, but I still laughed at it. Plus I give the guy credit, the sign said he was driven it like 20 some thousand miles in the last 2-3 years, including up to MI.

From the show its self, I would take this one...

Rathbone, There's not a thing wrong with the look of your car! I may even have a pic of the entire car on file if I keep looking. We actually cruised next to you for a couple blocks on Atlantic checking it out one night. We were in our 72 Chevy lowrider pickup. My wife was super bummed about her 54 210 not being ready for the trip....we'll roll it next year.

Chazz, I want that plate brother!!:D

I'm glad you guys were able to find a few pics out of this batch that you liked!

I'm already looking forward to next year.

The silver one? If it is the same one I'm thinking, I almost watched it get run over Saturday night by some GIANT truck in the BellAir Plaza lot. This cop had parked her motorcycle in the middle of the road and this BIG truck (maybe one of those Kenworth pick ups?) couldn't get between the bike and the Riv. Finally the cop leaned the bike over but I saw the guy jump in and move the Riv right after the truck went by, scary for sure! Great car!

Thanks for all the pics. I was there all weekend and didn't even see some of these cars!

You made a great choice with that one. That belong's to my friend Mike (lownloud) on the HAMB. mine was the silver RPU a few spot's down.didnt mean to bust your ball's. We were talking about that car the other night and the huge crowd around it all the time. What that tell's me is most people dont get it. Those same people lump Mike's car and mine and alot of other's in with that SKANKY piece of shit.Since your new here I'll give you a piece of advise. Take it for what it's worth. If that R-- Rod is your style your in the wrong forum Gregg

Great photos folks. Sitting here in freeze my butt off central Washington I sure wish I could have made a trip to somewhere warm last week.

One thing you can count on at an event of that size, fame and caliber is that it will bring out some of the best cars around anywhere and it will bring out some of the worse p.o.s. cars that you will ever see. And from one or two examples modifying just for the sale of modifying may not always be the right way to go.

:D Yeah, I'm just trying to justify in my mind the cost of the bodywork!

I'm also pulling your chain because you said if I painted it I'd destroy it's character.
