Still got my original Fremont Drag Strip jacket - a few moth bites, just for "patina". Thanks for sharing - let's see some more.

VVV The red-orange '23 T-roadster with the 6 cyl engine was Joe Williamson's "Trouble Maker". A screaming machine.

Dude I'm glad I could make your evening. That's why doing this is so fun. I have A TON more slides to go through but the process is really slow. I'll let you know if I come across anything. :D BTW ... looks like it was a heck of a ride. What were the specs / times / etc?

It ran a stroker SBF with a one-off stack injection,C-4 that was a test bed for Art Carr. Cl***ed as an altered. I would've kept it but it was a screaming ***** to get in and out of! Talked to the guy that built it, REAL nice guy. He ran it all over Ca. I tried to post a pic of it when it was here but can't seem to do it,worked fine last week, GGRRRR!

I see Malicoat Brothers' twin turbo Hemi funny car. I think it ran on alky. I believe they said it checked out at 1,100 hp on the dyno. Also, Jim Nicoll top fuel(der Weinerschnitzel?)

The picture after the Pinto funny car shows Joe Williamson (Trouble Maker) going off against, I believe, Don Hicks in the Hicks and Conway roadster which had a supercharged big block Chevy. I once stood right along side of Hicks at Sacramento to get a close-up when he was warming the tires. My hearing was never the same.

Cool car, but I wonder if they ever ran into tire clearance issues, looks to me like the quarter panel and rear slick are sharing space.

the rear tires were 11.50-15 goodyear with coilover shocks ladder bars. He was also a orange county bracket 1 racer and was down into the 9.50 range.
