Customs HAMB Merc Club! who's in?????

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bad Bob, Nov 11, 2008.

  1. I'm in - have a 40 Merc coupe . . . all original tin, from the westest of coasts. I won't start on it until I get my damn 34 coupe up and running, but when I do . . . I'll post some "before" pictures.

I posted this on the main form but re-posted it here . I want to make sure everyone here knows about these . Now available from Dennis Carpenter , Mercury accessory steering wheel center medallions . I just received mine ! It is bright without any flaws and looks exactly like the original , front and back . This has been a hard if not impossible item to find so I thought Id pass on the good news . It is available in red or black and comes 100% complete. Mine looks perfect !

WOW! Hey can you send me the info on that, I tried looking for it but found nothing? I have a wheel I restored that has a lame-oh Lincoln button on it, it would be much appreciated. Whats the wait on it?

Hey Mercurial. Glad to see the old Merc still around. Is the 57 caddy mill still in it? How about the blue & white roll & pleat gut? Thats a cool ride.

Hey, I remember when Kevan owned this car. I mounted the sombreros and gave him the F100 wheels on the front for a birthday present. Good to see it is still around and being driven...that was a fun car, and an original '50s hot rod/mild kustom.

Icebox, thanks for posting these...I was wondering when somebody might start repopping these as originals are hard to find and pricey when you can find them.

Do you happen to know what they cost?

I have an accessory wheel I plan to run on my shoebox in the near future.
