I might have a few pics to add. I'll try and keep it traditional. Jake recently finished his 3 window Larry Hook's, Norm Wallace roadster Roger B's roadster, built when he was a teenager, many moons ago Howard's roadster Al's roadster Alter Boys A few others
Ray, I could look at your pictures all day. Here's a few bad ones I can post now that I finally have access to a scanner: This one was more hot rod than custom: And this one isn't my picture...I think I actually lifted it from the HAMB years ago. I remember seeing it in like Street Rodder or something and absolutely loved this car: Oddly, about a week ago or so I posted a few local cars on my blog thing.
The black 36 roadster, the former sabis car is at my dads shop now, really is a interesting car, been a hotrod sense 1946.
Here's another from what I like to call "Turn of the Century car shows" I'm sure someone here will recognize it.
This is my all time favorite! I have posted these pictures before on other threads. Same owner all these years, and he drives it everywhere. Most locals know the coupe.
I saw this car two years ago at KKOA but havnt seen it ever again, I think the guy that owned it was from oklahoma?? and here is my car, it's kinda east coast with no chop.
pic of my grandpas friend charlie hetems roadster... this pics is from sometime in the early-mid 50s.... I think this is shortly after it was channelled... the headlights aren't moved down yet...
feul10922 My father in law has a unchopper 32 5w that he has owned since 57. He bought it from a guy down the street for $25 complete. He stashed the fenders in the attic of his moms house and years later went back to get them and his brother had sold them.He still has the most important parts.
Unchopped+channeled+ no rake+whitewalls+ hubcaps, fenderettes+nerf bars+quad headlights+Jersey Dip=East Coast Style
I wondered when this one was gonna show up... I remember seeing this at the Old Time Drags at E-town probably 10-12 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was running chrome reversed rims & widewhites with no top? Neat old rod...
That roadster belongs to Mick Dornes and unfortunately he wrecked it pretty bad last Thanksgiving. He's rebuilding it, and has been driving this coupe again. I first saw this coupe back in 1964, after he had just painted it candy apple red.
A '34 I owned in '65 with two friends and another shot of Andy Kassa's '32 in blue when it was known as the Jersey Gem.
