are you gonna have to cut the ****** / driveline hump all the way to the front? or is it just going to be for the rear? I have just begun this undertaking and am thanking you for the post and pics! I can't weld, so the c-notch is gonna be done by someone else, but I am gonna practice on the floor and back wall! blankets and Sh*t will cover that! LOL

Well, im just about to start finishing the tunnel, now that i have a drive shaft. Im only gonna have to tunnel it to the rear of the front seat, i had anticipated a lot more tunneling but it's not necessary. Good luck!! You should check out GAMBINO'S threads, he's got a lot of good info.

Any updates? Are you going to be in Santa Maria for "the show" this month? I'd like to check this out in person, if you are...

I know this is an old thread but I have a question burning a whole in my head....

In some of those photos it looks like you welded your wheel wells to part of the frame notch. Also some of the other photos appear to show the trunk floor welded to the gas tank frame which is also welded to the frame.

If that is the case, how would you remove the body from the frame in the future? You essentially made a unibody out of the trunk and rear wheel wells. Do you have solid body mounts on the rest of the body as well or are they still rubber? I would be concerned with certain portions of the body moving independent of the frame and others not. Are you worried about stress cracks?
