As chops go, this one was kind of easy. You kinda get a feel for it when you whack a photo...some take a LOT more work than others to bring everything back together again (just like the real cars). This one was VERY easy...

 

Okay can any of you do any thing with my truck.Would like to see a slight chop,Radirs,wide whites and and blue with contrasting scallops.Also,lose the front bumper and replace with a set of nerf bars.

 

...it's also sectioned an inch or so!

Man she looks wicked with the chop!Hmmmm,to cut or not to cut?That is the question.

yeah, kinda like that..mabye not the hood stripe, though..... possible silver black w/ orange breakup i like the headlights though

This has got to be one of the MONEY SAVINGEST threads EVER!!!

 

But the biggest waste of time . Some of these virtual modifications take some time, but it's fun.

 

skoh73-Looks like you're getting the hang of the pen tool. Crazy looking scallops on that wagon. And I mean that in a good way!

I'm surprised that more people didn't take a shot at this old Comet. Just took me a while to get some time to work with it. Because of the window tint color I thought some scallops in a bright gold "bottle cap" metalflake might look good. Then it just seemed appropriate to use the same color on the spokes of the mags. The Falcons of this vintage make good lookin' gassers, but why is it that the Comets look even cooler?

 

Thanks Clay-- that tip of yours saves me so much time and I would never have been able to get lines that smooth without it. Still practicing!

 

that is getting closer i painted the blue on the roof and the bottom of the car sunday night , the silver will be going on this weekend

 

can someone photochop this 4'' ?

the orginal color was a metallic green sort of blueish green
I like the gold personally, I also want to lower the car

 

Could I get some one to do this slammed on steelies? Open to any other drawings you guys can come up with

 

maybe with a hilborn blower, might be too extreme of a request though

 

I love the color you shot on the car. Here's another idea...just imagine the scallops in metallic gold (this is as close as I could get right now) and outlined with pinstriping.

'54, if there is any way that you could get a clearer pic, it would be great. I brought it in to work on and it's pretty tough. Better pic, same profile, and I'll give her some time.
