  3. skoh73, sorry that's all I've got, lost the rest of the pictures of it after the chop and fins in a computer crash, right now the car has the front sheet metal off and is parked among a bunch of other cars so I can't get a decent picture anyway. I didn't figure much could be done with the pic. just thought I'd ask

Alright, here's one for you PS experts if you have the time. Is it possible to move the front wheel on my sedan back a little. I'm curious what it would look like with a shorter wheelbase. Right now it's 115" I'd like to see how it looks around 107" or so. And if it's not too much to ask how about throwing some color on it. I'm thinking 62 Corvette Hondorus (spelling?) Maroon or a close approximation. Thanks, Scott.

    Here's another one for you....

My '41, currently rolling on 6.50x16s all round.

What wil it look like when I've fitted the 3" drop tube front and put some 7.50x16 town & countrys on the back? I need to get an idea of how much to drop the rear end too! Might need to drop to 5.50 or 6.00s on the front. Suggestions???????

Hey '54, that's cool. By no stretch of the imagination am I a ninja yet, but I'll try my best with the original pic. Might take a few days; really busy.

A little lowering job...a quick but subtle chop, a mild section, shorten the bed a pinch...

You don't need Photoshop! All I have is the "Paint" program that comes with Windows...that works pretty well for me!

was wondering if someone could add some color to my car.. Im kinda on a fence if I want it black with traditional style flames..(like it had at one time) or viper blue, with some kinda either ghost flames or some design on it to match the body.. heres a pic..

I really like the idea of going two-tone. Gloss black and a kind of champagne gold suede (see Nathan Hale's '54 chevy in ol'skool rodz) (or google it under images). I think that the color scheme is classy and fits the period, but with much more. Just kicked around some scallop idears. Did the best I could with the pic, hope it helps.

  15. Colour choice is up to you, but this design might be what you are looking for.

Here's one that's a bit different. Anyone want to have a go at putting some pinstripes on my acoustic guitar? Just whatever you can come up with. I'm thinking white and gold, round the pickguard and the bridge.

  17. skoh, the 2 tone is looking pretty good, I like the scallops that James D put on it but they're alittle too busy. I think the 2 tone paint with the three spears on the side, possibly on the back also but they don't get the effect that they really would have with the fin laying out, that you can't see in the picture. Also with scallops on the hood.
Thanks both you guys, some cool ideas to work from.
In the picture the black top gives it a convertable look

  18. ok heres a big one. take the watson grapevine clone wheels and tires on my 53 olds the slammed pic then put it in front of mels drive in with any color thats light and scallops or flames

  19. I´ve been looking at it thinking its a bit over the top too. Its hard to get a good balance between just putting a few scallops on and having it look like you have blank areas, where something should be and just plain having too much going on. Get some better pictures and we´ll keep trying!

I'm working on some ideas--just so you don't think no one's paying attention. I have quickly learned that the work these guys put in on photoshop takes a good amount of time.

Here is an all original '32 that I stumbled across and was trying to buy a few years back. Photochopped and bed shortened as I was familiarizing myself with the program to see what it would look like:

'54 S&S Knickerbocker Photochopped. This one came out damn near believable:

It was REALLY hard to improve on that well built machine...but after hours of photochopping while walking barefoot uphill in the snow both ways, I finally succeeded in creating the amazing example of PURE AWESOMENESS that you see below. Watch out OSR....here we come!
