This flathead powered rail was built by my friend Larry McClendon... from scratch!!! And I mean from nothing!!! He started with a bunch of tubing and ended with one awesome machine!!! At the first Hotrod Reunion (as a freshly built car) at Bowling Green he took it to the finals! To say this guy is a craftsman would almost be an insult. He isn't on this forum so I am not brown-nosing... Just givin credit where it is due. If you ever have the chance to talk to him... do it!!! He also runs a blown, red Willys (pictured below). He's one of those super nice guys that has forgotten more than most of us will ever hope to learn. Just my 2 cents for a man I truly respect! Below is a pic of his Willys yankin the wheels. Recently it has gone as quick as 6.12 in the 1/8th.

OL 55 you got that right LOL, it's actually surprising how good they work but i definatley wouldn't take it drifting. Kinda always pictured it on the salt on it's frame with just the hubs and a few spokes left.

How's this for back on topic. Crossing the finish line at the '07 Great Race. Car has an interesting history. Was originally owned by the president of Mexico then passed on to his son who raced it. So the story goes anyways.
