I think we beat on that poor little girl who couldn't afford hair enough. Wasn't much to beat on to begin with.
For a seemingly young person she had about the worst case of veryclose veins I've ever seen - and way up on the arms and all.

A couple of pics of my friend Mikes chopped and bagged Buick rollin north bound 15 fwy heading out of Escondido (used to be a 4 door until an unfortunate hit and run several years ago) He makes his rounds to alot of shows in Cali.

I just happened to come up on him on my way home from work, took these with my cell phone.

An exposed hemi in a hot rod suggests ferocious power and performance. Model A wheels on the same car suggest that it would tear itself apart the first time you punched it.

    I guess I don't understand.

I took these down on the shores of Lake Murray near Columbia, SC about 3 years ago... This was actually on an episode of "Mega-Movers" a while back.

Rumor has it that the plane was flying real low on a training mission and the pilot saw some ladies in a boat. He tipped his wings and caught the water and it drug him down.. Everyone made it out but the plane went under like 150' to the bottom.. and there it sat for many years. A rich doctor put a team together to have it pulled up and it's currently being restored in a museum in Alabama I believe. This is all straight off the top of my head, so I may be slightly mistaken on some details. It still had the gun turrets on the top and bottom. It's not in the pics but the top turret canopy was still in one piece. They said the skin on it was like eggshell. I can imagine it was after about 60+ years under water.

You would be suprised how well preserved aircraft can be by water. I took Aircraft Structures Tech. in '04/'05 and we had a class on aircraft recovery, heard some really cool tales in that class :)

    Thanks for the info!
