Well Ive owned this for four years now, My twins are 3 end of december, And Ive waited the last year for A local metal master, To finish his back log. He is Asian and comes to you So no worrys about My coupe vanishing. Needless to say Im stoked!!!!!! For those that dont know the story,Wideglide74, Jason, A man I had never met Turned me on to the Car. It had been rolled in about 86 And was in the Pacific North West. Sitting There waiting to be saved. I promised Jason progress pics So here they are. First one is How I bought it And the later ones are after Three 8 Hour days of work. The man working on it does things a little differant than us. So please Dont bash On the work Till you see the finished product. Ive seen what he can do. Sorry for rambling Here we go

  10. If you're talking about Yun, I had the pleasure of watching him work years ago. The guy is amazing. Truly a local legend...

When the car was rolled the passenger door opened while rolling and bent the A post and twisted it in two directions. Best way to fix, Stip the skins, repair and install the skins back..

Just a few notes the car is beimg rebuilt with brookville subrails, And a sectioned firewall that I found on ebay. The color is close but it is from a differant car. If you look at the early pics you see a wood firewall that was skin in stainless.. Also here is a pic in eary mock up to show the look Im going For

Wait a minute, a bodyman comes to your house to work on your car!!

Holy sh**. That is unbelievable, I had never heard of that before and think it is the great idea. A mobile bodyman that works on hot rods....wow.

To make you really Sh#$ He only charges less than a 40.00 per hour cash and gets paid weekly after hes worked for a week.. Not like most that need money up front and tie your car up till you take it back and loose the money you gave them....

  24. Congrats on the progress John, looks like he gets a lot done. Thanks for update. 10 days touring around So Cal and the only junk I've scored SO FAR is an old bike frame at "Slab City"...

Great, He is going to make lower patch panels. Say the store boughts are to thin at 22 gauge, So he is using 18 gauge. He will use it to start the bend, then hand hamerform from there...
