I'm sure one picture of her with the car wouldn't be frowned on now would it?

 

She was the blonde standing to the left of the car.. I was actually trying to avoid her (against my nature) because initially they weren't even allowing people to take pictures of the car. I snapped a couple from long range and was just waiting for her to drop something... but no luck.

Pics were taken at Auburn Cord Duesenburg auction/show two years ago. Cool bunch of cars, but it gets a little rich for my blood.. The swap meet is awesome though.

 

Looks like a header for one of those non traditional SBCs!...

just went through mine , accidently put one of the scort in ,hope you don't mind,it just reminded me of that feeling where you start a project and it looks like it is never ending , you finish it then think it is a great idea to start again......

 

That Caddy was done years ago, I remember it from way back. I forget how much more the car weighted afterwards.

Mike, my brother raced for 5 years at Wall Stadium in NJ in the Street Stock Truck class. 1st year we ran a used motor we had laying around, weren't even competitive. 2nd year he had a motor built to the rules by a race engine builder, ran in the top 3 in points for the next 4 years before it just got too expensive to stay competitive.

 

Obviously like most spectators.... This Dope can't read....

Why? I don't go to many car shows but on occasion when there is nothing else to do I will.

They always give you one of those cards to fill out to stick on your car with your name, car year and make etc.

There is always a place for a car club also. I don't belong to one and I always write there.

"You can go ahead and touch club".
