That's a good score ! The frame, firewall, quarters, dash are worth way more than that. What are your plans ? I need quarters for mine...

well, I really, really, really want to keep it. I also got some information on the last guy that owned... I figure I probably won't have much luck, but I think I'm gonna try to get in touch with him just to see what he knows about it...maybe he has some cool stories...I don't know

$750! Jeez, you could part that thing out for a really easy 5 grand. Probably more. Would be cool to fix it though.

Damn thing even has a trunklid on it! That's the surprising part to me, usually that's the first to go.

That seems like an unreal bargain to me.

    oldrodkid is is pretty modest.
Hes also being honest...the kid is only 18 years old!
Hes a good guy and very knowledgeable.

I'd say our hobby is in good hands with the younger generation

If I would have had the extra cash, I would have been there. What a score. You just dont find 32,s that cheap anymore. Good score on the ford trucks too :) Any more picks of the cars?

Some good scores. I wanted to go but it was the family Christmas dinner so it wouldn't of gone down too well. Nice to see some Hamb'ers got some good deals.

Congratulations ... just goes to show that they are still out there. There is easily 4 or 5 thousand dollars worth of parts on your $750 purchase.

I would keep it ... and slowly fix it. You are YOUNG and have the time. :D

Glad to hear someone of your age is smart enough and in a position to score it. My boys are over my shoulder drooling. If it were up to my boys and I, we'd have our own junkyard! Mostly AD Chevy trucks but we'd expand to accept the 30s and 40s car as well!

  25. Nice score! DO NOT SELL IT! What you have is a once in a lifetime chance for most of us. And at that price, you cannot lose.

Build that car, like said before, you have the time.

It was cool for those guys not to bid it up. If that was here, it would have been bid through the roof.

I had my heart set on that ole late 40s Chrysler in one of the photos. Ive always loved how much grille theyve got. Any other prices you can share with us? Still curious about Manyolcars' findings in the trunk of his shoebox ford though....
