No I don't mean holding the camera wrong and losing half the picture. I'm talking about rods, customs, and race cars that are a little off center if you know what I mean. Who's got pics of rides where scoops, grilles, etc. are different from side to side? For that matter how about some asymmetrical paint jobs too. Has anyone done it and made it look good?

Look for Moriarity's "Dream Rod" posts... and here: http://www.customclinic.com/fullcust/Cushenbery/ccdr/ccdr.html
Thanks for all the responses. I didn't actually expect this many. Rikster knocked it out of the park! Anyone got some asymmetrical paint jobs? I'm asking, because I'm thinking of doing it. Everything is starting to look the same where I live. I'm wanting to do something that will make people go "HUH? WTF?" But tastefully so if that's possible.
I figured it would be the first one up here. A little OT, but does anyone have any pics of the old BASF (sp) BMWs from the 70's? They were pretty wildly painted as I recall.
1960 Plymouth XNR concept car XNR meaning "Exner" I once saw a '49-51 Mercury with flames that went diagonally across the hood and down the other side... was pretty bad***.
There's an asymmetrical car on the cover of the Rod & Custom I just got in the mail last night. Didn't have time to read it yet.
Sure is some wacky stuff out there. I kind of like it, but some might take at least a few minutes to get use to.
Roth had a huge influence at that time of course, but I think you had to be deep into the show car scene ... that was the style of many rods and customs,,,,even now it may hurt to look at sort of
Yep, especially since I was expecting "Asymmetrical Pics" when the thread starter actually wants "Photo Request of Asymmetrical Rods and Customs".
