  1. I hope I don't get kicked off the HAMB for posting this, but it is very important to me. My grandmother seems to be having trouble with arthritis recently, and I was wondering if there is anything that is made (or can be made), to help her ease the pain. Any helps or leads would be greatly appreciated.

  2. teah really off topic but I would try the AARP web site...no joke Im serious lotta good info//////

Actually, there have been several studies showing that bee stings do help some arthritis patients. Weird.

But yeah, the tip on hitting the AARP website is a great one. One of the reasons O/T posts here are so great! I'd have never thought of that, and I have a 71 year old mother-in-law that's about to move in with us.

My grandmother used to use stuff like ben-gay. One day she was watching tv and putting it on and noticed it wasn't working. Turns out she was using elmers glue by mistake. She spent the next 30 minutes pealing glue off her knees.

Hope you find something that works for her. Good luck.

Just came home from the doc, arthritis pain. All he can recommend is Alleve, or other Ibupropren. I find gloucomosine helps with movement.

I hear weed works wonders. Not that I condone drug use, but it legitimately helps from people I've talked to.
