    This series of shots from botht he '70 Aussie Nationals and subsequent fire burn outs were taken from Drag Racing USA, no?

    Great series of shots of those then active east coast based match race guys. BTW, Paul Stefanski of the Super Stang continued to flog the SOHC motor well into 1971 or so.

    Most of these photos are O/T for the HAMB, but its -4'F outside, 30 mph winds,
    6-8 inches of fresh snow on the ground (and in the air), and I've got cabin fever.

    Thought the rest of the world would enjoy some photos from this past summers drags.

  28. Here's a couple of shots. The owners live on the eastern shore of Md. now and still race and show it. The blue 55 is theirs too. The original car (red) has been back halved and the blue one is a tube chassis.

    The old days...........Jim and Kathy Swagler went to their prom in this car.
