Love the "buck and a half" 2-doors, clean styling all the way. Sounds like your having a ball wheeling this little cl***ic around. A lot of major work done on this dandy so enjoy it what ever you do. I think these look really good with painted wheels and small caps like the Bel-Air tutone moredoor shown in the thread. However you decide it will be cool!!~Sololobo~

Thats a very nice ride man, and even though those are slotted I'd LEAVE the tire/wheel combo alone. The chrome wheels set it off nicely, But if the slots are bugging you then get the old style chrome reverse on it. Oh yeah, the yellow and black works so I'd shoot it with a fresh coat of that yellow. That car is fine. YOU DID GOOD!! Mike

Glad to see another 2 door sedan. Great buy when I catch more details in the pics like the updated brakes and Optima battery and such. Even if it's not as traditional as the single jar and standard battery, it's less chance for road trouble. I've got about as much in my project (55 Olds 2 door sedan) and did everything myself. Like you said, better than money in the bank! Good buy! Sir Woosh

I liked the way they updated it with the disc brake conversion and ,605 box ,ididit column ,etc.,instead of taking the cheapy way and clipping it.From what i have seen on it, they didnt cheap out on anything ,and you can sure tell it when you drive it.Its got brand new B.F Goodrich T/A's all around ,when they coulda just put some noname junk on it ,so they could say it had new tires .The more i look it over the better i feel about my investment .I always look at old car daily drivers this way ,Option #1:You could spend $11,500 for something like this to drive every day (which is basically new mechanically),and when you get ready to move on in a few years ,you can sell it and get all your money back or make some .Option #2 :spend $11,500 for a car that is only a year or so old ,drive it for a few years and then when the warranty expires and it starts laying down ,you go to trade it off and find you cant even get $4000 for it.With option one you also get the pleasure of driving it around the whole time ,and sticking your nose up to all the people driving late model **** .As far as ease of servicing and parts avalabilty ,your not gone find much thats easier than this 56.Money in the bank Fo Sho ...

Did i mention it was used in American Graffitti ? Ha ,ha,but it does look alot like the one in the begining of the movie.I think that one was a 210 though.I found some 210 1/4 trim ,but i like it better as a 150 i think ...

Thats a pretty good plan to shake the local cops off your tail. But that yellow 56 is going to be easy to spot. Better start looking for that 32...:D

I don't like it.I think you ****ed up .Why in the hell would you buy that? Does it make you warm and fuzzy now? Paint it kawasaki green with white wagon wheels then it would be OK for a tri 5.................................Congrats Daniel you did good.
