54 Chevy C notch with leaf springs

    Relocating the springs.......what advantage would there be in that? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a smart ***, I'm genuinely interested in this method if it can improve the ride seeing as how I am going to de-arch and use blocks as well.

    don't use bags why would u put a whole car together to look old skool kustom then throw some bags on it it don't make any sense

    i think the idea is that if you move the springs on the inside of the frame it allows you to eliminate using lowering blocks, which will give you a better ride allowing for more flex of the springs. and when you look underneath the car the springs arent hanging way down.

    if i understand it correctly, it should be the same concept as z ing your frame. i know your not z ing it. take your shackles and hangers bring them to the inside of your frame raise to me i dont think it will get you as low as you want with out blocks you will just have to measure. i would just say block it if you use s 10 springs they have lowered ones. its an old car i bet it didnt ride to good stock anyways you may just improve it you dont need bags either just give it a lil more gas lol
