Ok so I am currently driving a 4wd 99 s10 and the body is kinda rusting to shit on it but the frame is still good. I heard about a company that makes a kit to put a tri five chevy truck body on an s10 frame and was wondering if anyone knows the name of the company or a good website to go to. Thanks.
yeah I like to be different. But it gets even more frankenstein with the plans I have...lets see if it plays out in the months/years to come...ill keep you updated, and keep me posted if you happen to find a frame swap kit... thanks!
I know there is a company that sells S10 kits for AD trucks (http://www.ad-engineering.com/). Not sure if there is a kit for the tri fives.
im doing it my own way, i used what was the rad supports for the front mounts, as for the rear , the holes wound up being right onthe edge of the frame. so i cut a 2x2 hole thu the side of the at the top of the reail and welded in a 2x2 piece of square tubing so i can acess the nut and bolt. reason for the 4x frame cuz of track wideth and is was free. idid a 9" step cut to shorten it up to the correct wheelbase. original mount on left need to be cut off yet but the one onthe right is my front cab mount
