I lived on Venison St West, walked the train tracks , under the overhead bridge , past the jigger shack on my way to Maple Lane for Gr 7 and 8 I was quite close to your house when I was on those tracks Remember the Legion when it would have been across the street from you on Lisgar ? Didn't the Hillikers have a furniture store? Jeez I remember all those places! Buying smokes at the PeeWee when I was kid for my folks and Mojo's for 3 a penny. Catching frogs in the "eddy" at the lake. Times have changed! We used to ride our bikes over the "cliffs" at the PUC and the feed mill. Small World.

What about Stu Hilborn who went to California from Orillia Ontario Canada. Some think he was a furnace repairman since there is a big similarity in Furnace fuel pumps and Hilborn pumps. I read about Stu H in an early Hot Rod mag (1948?)a fellow showed me at Manotick Boat Works a few years ago. I never knew it before. Walter Chryslers family lived in that town to before going to Kanasas. James May wrote a great history on that subject.

A neighbor of Keith Somers who lived on Tillson Ave I knew the Wilkinsons and Gibsons I'm sure both the Wilkinsons are deceased as is Don Gibson Mrs Gibson still walks every day with her daughter Mary You weren't too far rom the Campus then Andy Kesteloot aka the Good Humour man with his bell ringing truck Bring back some memories ?? Fishtail, I could be wrong. I am going from memory. It was in a 1948 Hot Rod reprint the little ones and it was 15 years ago probably when the guy showed it to me. I was thinking Fuel engine man Dale Armstrong was the Alberton. The one that really blew my mind was John Kenneth Gailbreath, the great American economist is actualy from Milton Ontario and graduated from the Agricultural school still there.
I have been watching a Canadian tv show called Trailer Park Boys. Is that show popular up there? Pure genius Those guys are role models.
