  5. Never thought i would sit and read thru 41 pages of a build, but man, this one rocks!! Only 10 minutes to xmas down here in NZ, and after all this reading i'm thinkin xmas might have to be a day to work on the car, can't afford to waste a day!!

    Well, I'm impressed. I've heard most of my life that that's not easy to do so take it for what it's worth I guess. This type of craftsmanship is the juice for me. I like it way better than finish work. You've got it...the sickness. Good to get those ideas outta yer head, huh? Like little voices in mental patients.

    Seriously, I really like what you've done here. The details make it all work and can be missed by many. Thanks for postin it all too.

    thanks highlander thats what gets me goin to is sein peopl do the subtleties to make an over the top car not an over the top car in general if that makes sense.

    cshabang did ya ever drive 22 30 about 15 miles past blairsville and check out the guy with all the plymouth fins stickin out of the ground . there was also a junkyard on that same road but everytime i went by noone was ever there but it seemed to have dif stuff in it everytime.

    geeeeeeeeze everyone is so demanding for more work !! well your gettin some .

    i had to get up for the real job today benzine(only play car builder here on the hamb haha) nursin the ham ,cake and beer coma

    well i started messin with the bumper guards fit of course it sucked .i dont kno why, i even made a template of the bumper and they still turned out looking like a blind man cut them out .. sorry blind people if you are readin this ...

    heres how we started this lovley rainy friday. thats the passenger side but it gives ya an idea i was already done with drivers when i thought of taken a pic to show how they fit before making them right.

    the fit after some tlc with the file and some 1/8 inch steel being added...mmmmmmmmmmmm tight!!

    thats all that got done today took alot of time because its not one of those things ya can rush

    found out we gotta be out by the 18th of march mutherfuckers.:mad: so i think im movin shop to the old mans garage until i find a subtle new place

    dont kno if im gonna make the pittsburgh world of wheels we shall see its gonna be down to the wire!

    hey Flop, does your car run/drive? are you just doing all the body mods to a vehicle that can move under its own power?

    And show a pic of your files your using? anything special about them or just regular NON HARBOR FRIEGHT files.lol

    hey popo the whole car is on a s10 frame 400 pontiac with 400 tranny
    runs and drives but the brakes need done from sittin.

    10 dollar set from home depot on the files ..fuck payin 20 bucks a piece from the snap on guy.. plus i got a few ive picked up at swap meets etc. but the majority is the hd set.

    thanks johnny was lookin at your thread dig your work... next car i build is gettin sectioned and chopped.
