I got exactly what I wanted this year...nothing. We had a house full of laughing and smiling family, good eats, hugs, who needs more than that? All the other "stuff" that happens this time of year has less and less meaning to me. We both get whatever we want all year long. I prefer gifts that can't be bought.

After adopting one Old English Sheep dog for my birthday in October and ANOTHER one for my Christmas that arrived two weeks ago, I though I was outta luck as far as getting something 'under' the tree. I was wrong. Jen got me a really cool and now equally practical gift; a Pet's Eye View Camera! It hangs on the dog's collar and a timer takes pix automatically, AT THEIR LEVEL! (As soon as I can get my server back up and running, I'll post a link for those interested in seeing the new hairballs). That and she baked cookies all last weekend too!

My in-laws got me a TRJ script and Jen's sis got me a $20 Subway gift card.

My wife got me a Stainless Steel Radiator Expansion Tank. My guess she does not like the beer can I currently use. Also a small LED flashlight for the end of my MIG welder. Can't wait to try that out.

Just to name a few: REALLY nice hat (fedora-meets-derby), great new clothes for car show season, great wallet-chain-wallet, Rod & Custom in the '50s history book, stayed up all night diggin' into that book, listening to the new/latest Boss Lp. Yeah, pretty ampt.
Sidenote: being my first Christmas married, I fully realized the value of my gifts getting great reviews from the receiving party (i.e., I'm off the hook for now. 'Til February.1st anniv. is in April...). Greatest gift was being together, really, making her smile.
