  6. My "Bad Boy" sits on some Deuce Factory rails, has a '70 360 "Jimmy" truck engine, topped with a Detroit V6-71 (with a Dyer drive).

  7. Here's what some guys, in the '50s (into the early 60's), would do with their Deuces. I'd watch them every Sunday afternoon on live TV. Even though they were exciting times; many of us knew that they were using up some precious machinery. the photo was taken from Thomas Luce's book, "Memories of the California Jalopy Association"

  8. HOW IN THE HELL do you get a Deuce 3wd that high in the air without a 1/4 mile strip & a ramp?

    Damn!!!

Believe it or not I just bought the body. A gentleman named Craig took my body off an original bone stock car and put a 32 five window on the frame. Sorry it took me so long to answer. I was a HAMB junkie and had to go to HOTROD REHAB!!

Can I sneak in with my new heap? I can't get too snobby though, I'm already a member of the HAMB model A club and and the ultra exclusive HAMB model A Tudor club:D.

This is our 3 window and a friends Vicky. Both are Henry Ford steel. The Vicky owner shot the picture one day when the wife drove Henry to work as he lives nearby. The wife refers to the coupe as her eldest son Henry.

Henry has a 255 Merc with 3 97's and Edmonds heads, 39 trans, 40 rear end and 40 Lincoln brakes. Also has a 40 Merc dash and 35 wheels.

  22. Here's my 3-window. I've been planning this car since I saw Lloyd Bakan's coupe on the cover of Hot Rod 50 years ago, gathering parts for the past 15 years or so, and screwing it together (up?) for another 5... Just passed it's 1 year anniversary on the road and it's more fun than... damn near everything!! Do I get a decal?? ;)
