Agree 'cept for the wording... more like jazz than sick - smooth, very well thought out, stylish, classy n oh so cool. Miles Davis-ish? Gary

My Roadster Pickup. Modal A on 34 frame, 85 Hp flathead with Edelbrock heads, Tornado intake manifold, Cadillac 49 instrument cluster, homebuilt hood with Cadillac 35 hoodsides, not on car. A friend of mine found it at Pomona swaapmeet 1990, Joe Moreno was the seller. I traded it for a HD Flathead and a lot of 50s Rock n Roll records in 93. The car is just as it was built in early 50s in California. And I will NEVER restore it.

Love RPU's. Here is my favorite Dean Lowe pic, setting another B/SR record.

This 27 RP belongs to a buddy of mine.
He wants to ask for " a bail out loan " so he can finish.
no private jet to sell but he says he has no problem selling his daily runner ( a 1979 toyota celica :D)

  10. The second picture in post #26 was taken at Cobo Hall this year. It won 1st in class and my track roadster pickup which is peaking out behind the Conley car took 2nd and the R&C Pick. Here's a picture at Bonneville this year.

The Herm Rost RP from Fort Wayne, IN still exists almost exactly as pictured in the article. I saw it around 10 tears ago at the Muddy River Run in Fort Wayne. I think the Rost family still owns it.

Your talking about the bottom one...Right?? The one on the top was mine and this picture looks like it was taken by Jim, the guy who built it...
