I'll second that.

 

In addition to early funny cars, I'm a BIG fan of early Pro Stock, before tube frames and other exotica made it evolve.

I wish I could give proper credit to the original photographers, but I have no recollection where any of these came from as I've been collecting images for a long time.

IIRC, this is Jim Hyter, who later was part of the Dick Harrell race team and represented them in the '71 AHRA Finals.
