I've had these for a couple years. There are a lot more cars not pictured. Almost everything is for sale, and the owners are decent to deal with. I wish i knew what was in a couple of the buildings on the site. Located in Boscobel, (Southwest) Wisconsin. Enjoy!!
...been there a few times over the years, nice to see they didn't scrap out when iron prices were high.
Cuzzindeke and I were there 2 years ago while buying some parts from their neighbor. Had fun walking around looking however the parts were mostly rusty. Found a few things I wanted but the owners wouldn't price anything to me. When I would ask about this or that they would say, "well, I'm not sure what it's worth." No matter what I asked about they didn't know what it was worth and never priced me anything. They were busy sitting inside the office eating cheese curds and potato chips. Not wanting to bother them any more I left and went to the local cheese factory and bought my own cheese and snacks. Now THAT'S where the best buys in Boscobel, WI are in my opinion.
Pretty much the most annoying kind of people in the world, aren't they. Happy to let this stuff sit outside and deteriorate and not interested in it enough to know what it's worth.
Knew a guy in highschool who had an Opel GT. We used to call it a mini-Vette. Somewhere deep (and I mean deep) I'd kinda like to have one. I'll go sit in my corner now.
I doubt they will ever scrap. They are old car nuts. These pics were taken in May 2006. Lotsa good project cars!
Damn,I might have to find a buddy and plan a road trip this spring, I already noticed a Desoto club coupe in the 8th picture from the top, might have some good parts on it.
Keith, the owner, is a good friend of mine. I've donated a dozen or so to his yard throughout the years. Definitely a car guy! Most of the cars are pretty rusty and mostly picked over but he will sell any of the cars or parts. He's a great guy but he's a little quiet and you may need to make an offer. Oh yeah, he keeps the good cars at his farm about 11 miles away.
