Wow! This thread got huge in a hurry. After seeing all of these, mine would definitely fall into the 'bad' category but hopefully we'll be able to fix that mid this summer. The photo is 'bad' also, taken with my cell phone...

Love the thread but does anybody have a picture of Ettene(sp?) the house painters truck that used to be in the Herbert Cams adds back in the late 50's? Orange and black with ladder racks and a blown Chrysler street truck from Downey, CA.

Don, your choice of blue looks better and better. Especially with the red emblem for contrast.

Thanks... the narrowed rear is now in it so I have a little more fender clearance and the motors in place so I'll have to fiddle with the ride height.

Does anyone have info on this 56, like does it have bags, what size wheels and tires are on it are those spider caps, does it always set that low, how does it ride and drive. Thanks for any info

They are original Americans, 15 x 8 rear and 15 x 7 Front. A guy in Morristown, TN, northeast of Knoxville owns the truck. Had the wheels polished in Bowling Green, KY. I like this particular truck because it close to mine in appearance. Need anymore info. Holler
