Brian, that 41 turned out killer. Laurie's chop, the color combo with the wheels, stance .... what can I say, awesome ride. Congrats and enjoy it.

Old Gold, are you gonna do a build thread on your car?

I'd be really keen to see what you did and how it turns out, but not just a "before & after"........lotsa pics!

Old Gold, did you shorten the wheelbase?...you seem to have gotten the proper proportions somehow.

No, it's the stock wheelbase. I made the front doors to stock dimensions. It was the same plateform for 2 or 4 door. Heres a couple updated pictures. I used a 50 Dodge rear window.

Nope, just a heavy chop, I'd say at least 6 inches, I wonder how he cut the W/shield and back window.

car looks great, im really digging it. the chop has to be atleast 6 though, maybe even more, it wasnt even waist high. watching the model who was trying to pose with it was quite entertaining she had to get very low, i might have some photos of the car, im going to do a little digging.

as for the glass, maybe sand blasting or waterjet, from what ive heard its pretty hard to cut curved glass, i wouldnt know though, never chopped a car.

  29. Noble Customs built it. He's here on the HAMB. Headlights kill it for me! Other than that,it's a cool car...

Customs have always been the personal expression of the builder, like an art piece....I'm a freak for customs, and am drawn to them good or bad.....
I saw that car at Viva, and the bodywork and paint were perfect....whoever built the car had all the skills.....but.....It just looks like the car's been squashed flat, add those headlights, and I'm sorry, but it doesn't work for me.....IMHO
