I remember some one on the here built a 32 Ford grille from an early 1949-53 GMC grille I think. Well either way I had one laying around and decided what the hell I will try yo make some thing out of it. Well this is what I have at the moment. It would fit a channeled vehichle well or a T Bucket. Anyway I have no real reason for even doing this other than just doing it. I think when it is finished I will either bring it to the local swapmeet this weekend or hang it on the wall. Well anyway I thought I would share it with you guys.

Man, I am not a lover of Deuce shells, but the one you created is right on ! Hope you are able to use in your build. Please don't just off it at the Swap Meet !

Just a thought.... how about making the grille itself from an expanded metal 58 Ford Grille? That might look pretty cool and keep it traditional.

Yes I did, It was like 2 inches along the sides and close to 3 at the top. But the top is were you have to do some work because of what you have to work with after t******* the GMC leaves a big triangle area you have to fill. I used one of my 32 shells for reference.......lol......... as for offing this at the swapmeet I would rather trade it there for something I need than watch it collect dust on the wall. It is a local thing these guys are starting up this year so I thought I would bring this but if there is nothing there then I will bring it back home and save it for something. :D

Well before I finish off today I thought I would show a few pics of it in the dreaded coat of bondo or whatever it is called.

Looks great. I'd be hard pressed to tell that it's not a '32 shell at first glance. Hell, even at second and third glance! Nicely done!

What would be cool is if you could make it a little longer cause then i would be intersted in it i have a model a shell but what you made is alot better lookin than what i got.

Anyone have the link to when this was done the first time on here? That thread included how the bottom could be finished to imulate a complete '32 shell.
