I have tons more of these, I could probably market a photo CD of this stuff.

PS. Only one of those cars is still where it is in the photo -

Did you purchase those or did they go to the crusher?

Many "Thanks" to Rick(Racemad) & Ernie. Long day getting the 57' Nomad. Starting Tractors (by hand), moving Junk and Cars. We spent $ 10.00 at Car wash on way home, getting the heavy Bird s*** off. The 283PP has not been turned in 16 years. Got it home and spun it by hand. In process of soaking Cylinders & Rings, before starting.

HOLY SH*T! Theres a lot of great metal out there to be found! I need to scan a photo taken back in my Boy Scout days. We found an old car tipped in its side. The photo shows my brother and his friend, taking chromies off the car with a buck knife.

Took this one today,it's a '49 Desoto 4 door. I've already snagged the headlight ring and mounting cup for my Coronet a few months ago, probably gonna grab some other pieces too,as soon as I find out whatever else will fit my car. Unfortunately this is my only source of local junkyard parts for my '51.

  21. Well, it's safe, if not in a garage. I about crapped myself when I realized it was a '42, it took moving about 4 other cars and making a trail 150 feet deep to get it out.

Hey Mike did you drag that 39 chev sedan home?

  30. Not yet....the frame is badly rotted at the middle section and I think the car will fall in half if I try to move it.Its also up high on a hill off of the highway and I might not be able to get my truck and trailer up there.Got lots more to pick up.....
