WOW! there were a LOT more than I remembered off of the top of my head! Here are just a few, including a few of the less HAMB friendly cars.

Here's my attemp at economic stimulus! Bought it this summer. Only lowered and added the WW's so far. If any body wanted to photoshop a mild chop and drop I'd be more than happy!

I made an aquaintance with an employee at a Central Texas Crusher. He will give me a call when a customer brings him a car that has to have the gase tank removed and engine drained. He would rather get rid of it than have to wrench on it. I bought this one for about $350. He just wants a bit over the weight value. I never know what he really has until I get there. Some are so gone that they get thier last rites and get crushed and shredded. I hate to see cars go that way, but it is a heck of a lot of fun to watch.....

This is a really interesting car, 1948 Pontiac Super 8 Sedanette, with no floor board rot and an engine that turns over. The down side is there is a LOT of through hole rust on the body. If I ever get to it, This one will get built. Think project EFIGY from Holden in Australia.

This kind of fell into my lap. Wasn't looking for anything like this but it was headed for scrap if I didn't buy it. Some people just don't get it!

And pulled these 28 Model A Phaeton remains outta the woods about a week before they were to go in a scrap dumpster...I had to sell off my collection of junk to build a hot rod when I moved east...so now the parts collection process begins again!!

Haven't had much time to work on them and not all Hamb friendly but did manage to trade around and get a 56 Ford 2 door customline , a 1964 Sunbeam vintage road race car , 58 Chevy 2 dr Del Ray and a 1969 Cale Yarborough Cyclone Spoiler are just a few of the ones still around at the end of the year. Earlier in the year had a 39 Chevy coupe and a 51 Plymouth Fastback that ended up being trading material.

This is another one I saved as it was originally bought as a parts car for another fastback that we are workring on. It's a 65 and all the work was done by a guy in South Carolina for me.It was hit hard in the front and buckled the firewall and tunnel. About the only piece of sheetmetal not replaced was the rooof and drivers quarter and both rockers. Picked it up earlier this year but havent had time to paint and finish it yet. here is the before and after .

Not an old Ford but hauled this '63 'Vair home for $200 with a title. Plans are tube frame, front mounted 292 SBC (bored 283) 144 B&M Blower, narrowed Olds rear. Plans were for MOKAN '09 but with the wife not working that may end up being 2010. LOL

  21. This is a 61 Morris pickup I bought off a craigs list add. It was started and abandoned in 96 and sat in the gentilmans garage for 12 years. The work he did on it is top shelf and I am looking forward to working on it. there is a fiberglass and carbonfiber front end to go with it.

  22. ...my next parts go-getter...trying to keep it hid from the fiance. Just got rid of some 4 or 5 projects to keep the 'County off of my back (some to the big scrapyard in the sky...non Fords, thank God)...this one was next in line for the crusher, but I just happened to open my trap at work about wanting an old pickup and voila...
...now where do I hide it 'till after the wedding?

  26. Hey man, you can hide it in my garage! Just bring it and the title over...:D
I had a '58 nearly same color as that one, many many moons ago while in the Air Force. 390, 4speed and dangerous-fast! They're nice, I think I like that body style best of all the F1s/F100s.

  27. Enjoying this thread and your amazing finds! This is my 64 malibu picked up about a month ago.

I saved a Dodge sweptline shortbox 71 early in the summer, fixed it up a bit, sold it for a profit then bought this on a lein sale from a towing company.

This little beast that was basically crap-rodded then interior and trim stripped. Sweet SS Fremont-built coupe though. Other than the obvious neglect and a little roughness around the rear window and wheel wells it looks straight and solid. Went to the DMV, updated all the paperwork to current, have a clear title, and now just chipping away at cleaning it up and getting it back on the street. Collecting the right bits for it now - 283, glide(or I'll keep the 700r4), steelies in the back, mags in the front with coker skinnies, etc...

Once running well, will either keep it and enjoy it, or will begin to look for 55/56 or 61/62 chevy or pontiac coupe to trade "up" to. Really miss my high school 55 these days and feel more comfortable with pre-63 level of refinement in my drives.
