I had a GMC/Deuce for some time. Set some B'ville records with it. And met the guy who made the 12 port head. Tman, hows my spelling? I never was good at spelling. Always thought spelling bees were kind of girlie. Or should that be Girly?

    Hafta agree

    Hafta agree with this too

Hardly any at all I reckon. Drag link and radius rod are very close to being on the same arc.

    Pete

Oh yeah, Great ol' pic Groucho!

  13. Ok, so they were not tribal flames, but they ARE dodgy!

  16. I agree. We'll see if any history pops up to mandate the orange.

I think I still have an old '70s Street Rodder mag with a picture of this in it!

Yep, this car was in a old magazine, like a old street rodder or something . I remember about any thing with a 12 port, the car looks familiar. I will try to find it, don't hold your breath.:D

  23. Lime-gold rat rod? All the rat rods around here are surface rust (or rot), or rattle can black:D. Besides, there's NOTHING "Rat" about this car no matter what color it gets;)

Hey Groucho, I looked in bunch of my 70's books, and I did'nt see it, so you can exhale. I could have sworn I saw it in some coverage of the Antique Nationals (drag racing) in the background or showing the engine. I'm going to look at a few Popular Hot Roddings , they use to cover those drags at one time back then, then I'll give up. It's starting to bother me now.:D
