    I agree, Racewriter, but those last three from 1957 aren't Wayne's.

    is the #7 mike millers old dairyland transpor car? #18 red/white, cutlas. the one bobby allison called the "ugliest race car in america". still cool lookin tho!

    IIRC, Gregory had his first. And Miller's was definitely uglier than Don's.

    when i get a little more info i'll make a post by it's self but the word i got today was the city of birmingham al, has started tearing down b ham raceway. the OLD BIR. so much history to be lost. damn it:mad:
     
  24. Well, let's go back up north to the early '70's.

    1st. pic is of Johnny McPartlin in a tough looking and always beautifully prepared Nova.

    2nd. photo is of legendary Stash Kullman and his famous 4U Nova at Waukeegan, Il, speedway.

    The autographs are of Art Dexter and Ken "Stits" Sowinski. Two of the most prolific stockcar and dragster lettering guys in Chicagoland.
