GM for a prosthetic company. Good thing because I am constantly hurting myself. I am just biding my time until I am a patient too.

I'm an electronics tech for the US Postal Service. Keep tabs on 44 PLCs and related stuff that controls all the mail sorting equipment at the Denver Bulk Mail Center. Definitely not auto related.

  5. I play with a big 'ole remote control crane for a living...delivering building products...roofing material mostly. I also get to drive a big truck, play in the mud, and trim trees (or whatever else hangs under 65'-70' in the air...and not with a saw) Business is slow right now, so I end up being the office phone jockey or pushin' a broom around between deliveries, but I am just lucky to have a job...

I guess foolin' around with all those remote control cars as a kid payed off...

In the Electric Distribution and Transmission trade for 44 years (39 years with a Utility and 5 years with a Line Contractor). I was a Lineman for many years and still am a qualified Barehand High Voltage instructor (500KV and below). Now semi-retired. Great vocation and lots of varied work in about every type of terrain- loved the work and would do it all over again !!

Journeyman Tool and Die for a plastics company. Actually pretty much a tooling engineer. I get to design everything I build. Kind of nice since I know what I am making and can make changes on the fly. Sometimes I think about throwing my hat into the automotive machining area. I did go to tech school for Auto/Diesel at UTI and worked in that field for a few years before I realized I didn't care much for it. I would rather make my own mistakes than have to fix some other engineer's screw-ups.

  22. I sell products for the environmental industry.
The closest my job gets to cars is one of the products we handle cleans up spills from traffic collisions and is used by a lot of fire departments and contractors. We also have a product used at gas stations to make overfills and spills non-hazardous. Some have you may have seen that one if you fuel at a major gas chain anywhere in the US and parts of Canada.
