Lets talk camaro clips and chevy 5 on 5 pickup rear ends. Has anyone ever put this combo under there 53 to 56. Is the pickup rear end to wide. Can you make the 5 on 5 pickup rotors go on camaro spindals. The reason I ask is I already have a camaro clip under my 56. I would like to have a 5 on 5 pre 88 chevy pickup bolt pattern with out using a wheel adopter. The other reason I ask is I already have a lot of chevy pickup parts. Thanks for any help

I have a Trans Am clip on my 56,same as Camaro. I used Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser spindles direct swap and 5 on 5 bolt pattern.

I am no GM expert (I leave that nonsense to my brother), but Impalas from 1971-76 seem to have a 5x5 pattern, as well as 2wd chevy trucks. The popular 57-72 Ford truck swap is 61.25", so anything close to that width should be good. The stock frame width for spring pads is 40" on center.
58" axle width is probably going to be too narrow, unless you tub the bed. Should give ya ballpark numbers anyhow.
