    This is the White Triplex land speed racer. It did hold the record for a short period of time in 1928 @ 207 mph with Ray Keech driving. In 1929 Lee Boble was killed driving this car trying to reset the record that had been upped to 230 mph by Henry Seagrave in the Golden Arrow.

    1949ish. Ileen Goodman, started racing in women only races, winning the championship in Wichita her rookie year.

    Goodman was great aunt to Rick and Roger Mears.

    I don't think it's a Ford product at all. The grille stringers radiate outward as they go up -- I think Brewster-Fords might have done that, but the grille shell doesn't look anything like a Brewster. And the hood louvers are very fat, which is true of a Model Y, but there are too many of them. The car also looks much larger than a Y (judging from the pickup in the background); maybe even too large for an American Ford.

    Any other theories?
