I know this a picture thread
but if any f1 guys wouldn't mind i have a few quick questions

I have a 51/52 f1, I wanted to know how much the stock rear end would handle horsepower/torque wise?

and that rear end is an early dana......?

and how much the stock frame would handle horse power/torque wise?

    and I have a steering box out of a 51 maybe 50 f8
are the steering boxes the same in f1's and f8's from 48-52?

its missing the pitman arm, and i wanted to know if the pu arm would work on that box, i believe it's the same box...

thank u for ur help paul

1962 F100 Integral Cab Pickup Truck or as we call em "Unis"
292 Y block - duals with Cherry Bombs & car manifolds, 600 Holley on a cast 4 bbl intake - I've done more on the 292 since the last pics.
    15 x 7 & 15 x 8 American Rodmasters with 225 x 60 & 275 60s
Front Disc conversion on the straight axle - used CPP's brackets
Reverse eye mono leaf front springs.
Still alot of work left do do - back on it when the weather gets better.
This summer - lower & soften the rear suspension. Install a T-5 behind the Y, change the rear ratio. Need to finish some preliminary panel alignment so I can get on the body work. The paint is Rustoleum, I just wanted to make sure I liked the paint job I planned for it before I started the bodywork.

Great!! It's what I've been looking for. Personally I'll accept a Ford/Merc clone, but the grille on these are awesome, IMO.

Found this on a buddies myspace page. He doesn't know anything about the truck or the photo...

DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS TRUCK ? Does it belong to a H.A.M.B.er?

Rufstksilver, that Merc panel is a friend of mine's,and that's his shop.If I remember right it's 30x60.That's the only pic I have of it,needless to say I wish I had more. It's a very cool rig!The logos on are from an old Canadian oil company known as B/A(British American). If you notice he has a gas pump and signage on his shop from that company.
